Twisted Timbers BRAND NEW!!- 48” to ride 

A Wooden Coaster with a Twist of Steel

Steel and wood combine forces to bring you our newest rollercoaster – Twisted Timbers. This hybrid coaster is the first of its kind in the mid-Atlantic and uses the latest technology to combine wood supports and steel track to give riders an experience that is impossible on a traditional wooden coaster.

Twisted Timbers sits at the edge of Candy Apple Grove and gives riders a one-of-a-kind experience. Plummet down a 109-foot-tall barrel roll drop, through two more inversions and soaring over 20 airtime hills at speeds of 54 miles per hour. Hold on tight, because this is a ride with a twist… this is Twisted Timbers.

Anaconda- 48” to ride 

Get wrapped in the coils and be prepared to drop 144 feet into the depths of the Anaconda. You'll be rocketed through 2,700 feet of track at speeds up to 50 miles per hour through an underwater tunnel, vertical loops, sharp twists and turns.
Long-time favorite of park visitors and roller coaster enthusiasts alike.
Anaconda was the first looping roller coaster in the world to feature an underwater tunnel.

Apple Zapple- 54” to ride

Flight of Fear- 54” to ride

Get ready for an adrenaline rush like no other when you catapult from zero to 54 miles per hour in just four seconds on this heart-pounding adventure in total darkness through four inversions. 

Flight of Fear features one of the most exciting accelerations of any roller coaster in the world.
The ride was one of the first linear induction motor LIM-launched coasters in the world.

Great Pumpkin Coaster- 40” to ride 

Take Linus with you in search of the Great Pumpkin throughout the year, as you venture through two turns, hills and great dips on this junior steel roller coaster.

Grizzly- 48” to ride

Intimidator 305- 54” to ride 

Challenge the tallest, fastest and most thrilling roller coaster on the East Coast. The 300-tall first drop and high-speed twists and turns deliver a thrilling experience you will remember for a long, long time.

 Rebel Yell (Racer 75)- 48” to ride 

Not the biggest, tallest or fastest ride at Kings Dominion, but certainly a ride with class that families enjoy riding together. Twin racing trains compete for the finish on this traditional out and back wooden roller coaster. 
An attraction that families enjoy riding together.
Has given more rides than any attraction at Kings Dominion.
The ride was featured in the 1977 movie Rollercoaster.
The historic coaster received the American Coaster Enthusiasts' Landmark award in 2003.

Volcano The Blast Coaster- 54” to ride 

Soar at speeds up to 60 miles per hour into the heart of darkness, then rocket 155 feet straight up and out of the top of the crater through a spectacular sidewinder inversion in head-spinning, heart-pounding fashion.

Woodstock Express- 46” to ride 

Woodstock is in charge of this high-speed wooden roller coaster with several quick turns that is perfect for the entire family to enjoy. 

One of the fastest rides in Planet Snoopy.
Features two trains with five cars, 20 riders per train.
Opened in 1974, and re-themed in 2013.
Originally named Scooby-Doo!
Was the first ride built at Kings Dominion.


The ride was the backdrop in one scene of the 1977 movie Rollercoaster starring George Segal and Timothy Bottoms.

Berserker- 48” to ride

Board this giant Viking ship for an exciting adventure as you swing forward and then backward, and then finally going over the top.

Catch some gravity defying hang time on one of the most powerful pendulums on the planet.

Drop Tower- 48” to ride

Grand Prix Raceway- 40” to ride

This ride takes the "go-cart" experience to an all-new level. It's as close as you'll come to a real stockcar racing experience.

The Crypt- 54” to ride

Feel the sense of impending doom on this journey of epic dimensions as you toss through the air to the thundering sound of tribal drums, dangling head first over a pit of flames and water.

Boo Blasters on Boo Hill- 42” to ride

Be on the lookout out for Boocifer! You must defeat him by zapping his secret potion as you travel through ghostly graveyards and creepy corridors.
• Interactive dark ride experience.
• Riders have a special weapon called a Boo Blaster to zap Boocifer and all the Ghosts away.
• Has 72 animated props throughout the ride.

Carousel- 46” to ride

Grab the reins of your favorite horse and prepare to ride the classic Carousel with your family and friends.

Eiffel Tower- 46” to ride

Ride to the top of one of Kings Dominion's signature attractions for a birds-eye view of the park and surrounding countryside. 
• One of the park's original and signature attractions.
• The Eiffel Tower stands 315 feet and is a one-third replica of the original Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
• Guests are treated to a panorama of the park and surrounding countryside.
• On a clear day guests can see 18 miles out into the region from the observation deck.

Flying Ace- 48” to ride

Strap on your aviators and get ready for a high-flying adventure with Snoopy on Flying Ace. 
• Features 16, two-passenger cars.

• Originally named Nickelodeon Space Surfer.

Flying Eagles- 48” to ride

Riders glide through the air steering their course as they swoop up and down and from side to side on a fun adventure for guests of all ages.

Scrambler- 48” to ride

Shenandoah Log Flume- 46” to ride

A splash-filled water adventure for guests of all ages as they float through an excursion in the wilderness with a splashdown ending.

Wave Swinger- 48” to ride

Charlie Browns Wind up- 42” to ride


Hop on with Charlie Brown and swing around on Charlie Brown’s Wind Up.

Flying Ace Balloon Race- 42” to ride



Up, Up and Away! Soar high into the sky in a hot air balloon that climbs 43 feet into the air! 


• Features eight, four-passenger gondolas, with a max of 1 adult per gondola.

• Each gondola in the ride represents a different country throughout the world.


Joe Cools Driving School- 40” to ride



Experience the fun of the hectic highway as you drive a pint-sized car around the Planet Snoopy Expressway. 


• Children drive through an enclosed course with its own street signs and traffic signals.

• Features 30, single-seated cars. 

• Opened in 2000, and re-themed in 2013.

• Originally named Rugrats Toonpike.


Kite Eating Tree- 36” to ride



Charlie Brown’s kite is stuck in a tree. Can you help get it down? This ride will take you up to see if you can grab it, then gently bring you down. Children of all ages will laugh and smile on this ride that takes them in the air and then gently drops them in a jumping, vertical descent. 


Linus Launcher- 42” to ride



Let go and feel as if you are flying through thin air on Linus Launcher. You’ll lay down on your stomach with your feet dangling behind and tilt up and down as you take flight with Linus. 


• Features eight, two-passenger cars with a maximum of one adult per car.

• Opened in 2013.


Lucy’s Crabbie Cabbies- 42” to ride



Move out of the way! It’s time for the kids to take over the driver’s seat in these mini bumper cars. 


• Features 12, two-passenger bumper cars.

• Originally named Boulder Bumpers.


Lucy’s Tugboat- 42” to ride


Come aboard Lucy’s Tugboat! Get ready to set sail on the high seas with Lucy and your family by your side.


• Features six bench seats, with 24 passengers per ride (max 1 adult per row).

• Opened in 2013.


Peanuts 500- 42” to ride



Start your engines! Burn rubber through a circular speedway towards the checkered flag. Hang on through the turns - they'll make you giggle! 


• Children and their parents can pick their car and hit the track!


Peanuts Road Rally-


Time to rev up the engine and hop into these 4x4 monster trucks and travel around on the road. 


• Features five, four-seated passenger trucks.

• Opened in 1990, and re-themed in 2013.

• Also named Fred’s 4x4’s, Alley Cat 500, and Road Rally.


Peanuts Turnpike-


Young drivers slide behind the wheel of their very own automobile and take a spin around the neighborhood.

• Also named Top Cat’s Turnpike and Junior Turnpike.


Sally’s Sea Plane- 42” to ride


Kids and their parents join Sally as she flies through the sky on this crazy airplane adventure that rotates and rises into the air. 


Snoopy vs Red Barron- 36” to ride



Kids take over the cockpit, as they fly through the air and prepare for the battle between Snoopy and Red Baron. 


• Also named Snagglepuss’ Seaplanes, Dick Dastardly’s Airfield, and Red Baron

• Features eight, two-passenger planes.

• Opened in 1990, and re-themed in 2013.


Snoopy’s Junction- 36” to ride



All aboard this PEANUTS-themed railroad, as Woodstock and Snoopy lead the way on Snoopy’s Junction. 


• Features a four car, 14-passenger train with a maximum of 7 adults per ride.

Snoopy’s Rocket Express- 42” to ride



Step onto this rocket-themed aerial monorail that gives your entire family a view high above Planet Snoopy. Riders will load into the rockets through an elevated loading station and travel up to 4 miles per hour on the flat, raised track. 


• Features six, four-passenger rockets with a maximum of two adults per rocket.

• Opened in 2013.


Snoopy’s Space Buggies- 42” to ride



Learn what it feels like to defy gravity and bounce your way to the moon on Snoopy’s Space Buggies. 


• Features six, four passenger moon buggies, with a maximum of two adults per buggie.

Woodstock Whirlybirds- 42” to ride


Take a spin around on the classic teacups with a Woodstock twist on Woodstock Whirlybirds. 


• Features six, four-passenger whirlybirds, with a maximum of 2 adults per whirlybird.

Soak City:



Slides and attractions-



In the summer, go straight from the thrills to the chills at our all-inclusive Soak City Waterpark. Our 20-acre water park features two massive wave pools, extreme water slides, an interactive splash pad for children and more. Take it easy at Tidal Wave bay, or go with the flow on the Lazy Rider. Up for some chilling thrills?



Climb to the top of our 65-ft tall slide tower, Hurricane Heights and take the plunge on Paradise Plunge. Grab your friends and slide to the bottom on the ZoomFlume, or hang ten on one of the 4 slides at Baja Bends.



Be sure to pack your swimsuit and towel on your next visit and give our incredible water attractions a splash! Entry to Soak City is included with park admission.


Aqua Blast- 48” to ride



Aqua Blast sends riders twisting and spiraling through an enclosed chute featuring four intense 360-degree loops across 449 feet of slide before they’re dropped out into a pool of water. Must be 48" tall to ride.


Baja Bends- 48” to ride



A twisting fiberglass water slide which descends into a 42" deep splash pool. Must be 48" tall to ride.


Big Wave Bay-



Our awesome 650,000-gallon wave pool, featuring giant 4-foot waves, that's guaranteed to give moms, dads and kids a thrill.

• Children under 42” tall must wear a life vest and be accompanied by a supervising companion.  

• Children under 48” tall must wear a life vest.


FreeStylin’- 40” to ride


An inner tube ride in which the guests experience a variety of curves and drops before splashing in a 42" deep splash pool. 

• Guests must be 40” tall ride. 

• Guests between 40" & 48” tall must wear a life vest.


Hurricane Heights- 48” to ride


Hurricane Heights is a 65-foot tall slide complex featuring three thrilling new attractions. Must be 48" tall to ride.



On Paradise Plunge, thrill-seekers will step into one of three chambers and wait anxiously for the floor to drop out from underneath their feet, sending them in a high-speed, almost vertical free fall through a series of loops and s-curves in a translucent flume.



Aqua Blast will send riders twisting and spiraling through an enclosed chute featuring four intense 360-degree loops across 449 feet of slide before they’re dropped out into a pool of water.



A wet and wild adventure will await guests on Thunder Falls as they climb into a single tube before being launched down a series of intense drops and turns.


Lazy River- 48” to ride


Relax and soak up the sun as you drift down a 1/4-mile river raft ride that meanders through waterfalls and geysers.

• Children under 42” tall must wear a life vest and be accompanied by a supervising companion.  

• Children under 48” tall must wear a life vest.


Lil’ Barefoot Beach-


A spacious splash-filled pool just for the little ones that's big on fun! Guests must be under 54” to participate or be chaperoning a child.


Paradise Plunge- 48” to ride


On Paradise Plunge, thrill-seekers step into one of three chambers and wait anxiously for the floor to drop out from underneath their feet, sending them on a high-speed, almost vertical free fall through a series of loops and s-curves in a translucent flume. 


Pipeline Peak- 48” to ride


Four totally enclosed slides. Night Slider and Power Plunge are body slides beginning at the top of a 77-foot platform. Rip Slide and Turbo Twister are inner tube slides starting from a 45-foot platform. 


Soak City Splash House-



A giant water powered play house featuring more than 50 water-filled attractions that parents and kids can enjoy together, including a swinging bridge, water slides and 40-foot-high bucket that tips a boatload of water every few minutes. Guests be 40” tall to ride the slides.


Splash Island-



Splash Island features small slides designed for young children and multiple jets of streaming water that spray up from the ground as well as overhead.



Little ones can let their imaginations run wild as they get soaked underneath large cascading flowers, take a trip down a slide, or pump and direct water that shoots out from one of the many splash pad creatures.



Splash Island also offers options for parents and family members looking to relax and soak up the sun in the adjacent lounge area while they watch the children play. 



Guests must be under 54” to participate or be chaperoning a child.


Thunder Falls- 48” to ride


The twin slides of Thunder Falls shoot you down a series of high speed drops and bank as you hold on tight to your tube. Using a series of slide path designs, these tube slides offers a variety of exciting twists, turns and drops that are sure to put a smile on your face.


Tidal Wave Bay-


Filled with hundreds of thousands of gallons of water, Tidal Wave Bay offers hours of swimming adventure.

• Children under 42” tall must wear a life vest and be accompanied by a supervising companion.  

• Children under 48” tall must wear a life vest.


Tornado- 48” to ride


Extending 65 feet into the air, Tornado provides riders with a unique water experience that everyone will want to ride again and again


Zoom Flume- 42” to ride



Families enjoy this rafting adventure together. Four riders at a time climb aboard the raft and “zoom” down the curving and tilting raging water path.

Dinosaurs Alive: (extra cost unless you have a gold or platinum season pass)



Long before coasters, dinosaurs ruled Kings Dominion...and now they're back! Come face-to-face with animatronic dinosaurs at Dinosaurs Alive! at Kings Dominion. 



See 43 moving and practically breathing life-sized dinosaurs, including several you can control. Plus, find out what it's like to be a paleontologist at our dig site! From ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex to the towering Ruyangosaurus, step back in time to the beginning of the "Age of the Dinosaurs" at Dinosaurs Alive! - the most immersive and comprehensive Mesozoic experience designed to thrill guests of all ages. 



Take a journey through time-



Dinosaurs Alive! features 43 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, which are scientifically accurate based on the latest paleontological knowledge.



The exhibit presents scenes and stories based on real fossil evidence. Dinosaurs Alive! gives guests of all ages the opportunity to travel back through time to encounter and understand a world long since extinct!



Engage in an interactive learning environment-



Dinosaurs Alive! combines finely detailed hand-crafted animatronics, interactive consoles to control dinosaur movement, a lush setting and educational content that reflect the latest scientific theories. 



The exhibit offers not only the excitement of a tail thrashing, clawing and roaring exhibition, but the opportunity for guests of all ages to actively engage in a unique learning experience!
