Virginia is for Lovers! Whether you love food, wine, beer or coasters, the return of our newest food festival, Taste of Virginia, is sure to delight!
North, south, east and west… we are taking you on a culinary adventure through the commonwealth. Our culinary team will be your guide as they whip up recipes inspired by the various regions of Virginia and highlight some of the best local wines around.
Enjoy all of this home-grown deliciousness while grooving to the sounds of live local bands and enjoying the thrills of the rides and coasters. It's a Virginia food festival like no other!

Memorial Weekend Salute:

Kick off your summer and celebrate Memorial Day with us all weekend long during our Memorial Weekend Salute May 26 - 28!
Enjoy the thrills of the rides and chills of the slides in Soak City by day then, be dazzled by our fireworks show at night.
Plus, we're honoring members of the military and veterans with FREE admission and discount tickets for their families.
Run and Ride:
5K and 1-mile run on Sat., June 2, 2018
QM and half-marathon on Sun., June 3, 2018
Kings Dominion knows how to bring the fun--from thrill rides like the brand-new Twisted Timbers to super-fun half, quarter-marathon (6.5 miles), 5K, and 1-mile races with the Run & Ride Race Series!
These events will have you twisting and turning through the park way before any of the other thrillseekers get to walk through the gates. Participants also enjoy some fabulous swag--a ticket to the park!

The Harlem Globetrotters Experience:
June 9 & 10 at the Peanuts Showplace | 1pm & 3pm
As the official juice drink of the Harlem Globetrotters, TUM-e YUMMIES is excited to bring you the ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment from its recently completed domestic tour.
Join Globetrotters stars after the performance where they will stay for a 15 minute autograph, photograph and high five session for fans! Keep the fun going with the delicious fruity flavors of TUM-e YUMMIES available for purchase throughout the park and catch the 2019 tour when it begins this fall.

Star Spangled Celebration:
June 30th-July 4th
Kings Dominion will be decked out in red, white, and blue this Independence Day for our Star Spangled Celebration, June 30 - July 4!
Celebrate at the ultimate 4th of July event all weekend long with energetic performances from local military bands and dazzling firework shows, plus all of your favorite rides.
Kings Dominion is also honoring service members by offering FREE admission to the park for active and retired military, as well as veterans with honorable or medical discharge, and discount tickets for friends and family.
